Aquitaine is one of the 26 regions of France, in the south-western part of metropolitan France, along the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees mountain range on the border with Spain. It comprises the 5 departments of Dordogne, Lot et Garonne, Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Landes and Gironde. In the Middle Ages Aquitaine was a kingdom and later a duchy, with boundaries considerably larger than the modern ones.

Inside, a magnificent entrance hall leads to very large dining and living rooms. The living room has separate double doors leading to the very spacious covered dining veranda with beautiful views of the gardens and beyond. Adjoining the living room is the pool room which also has two sets of double doors opening out on to an uncovered veranda which is ideal for sun-bathing. The entrance leads to a wide stair-way to the first floor bedrooms and the theatre...  Sleeps 14.
