The United Arab Emirates
is a Middle-Eastern country that lies right between Oman and Saudi Arabia.
While its largest city is Dubai, the UAE's northernmost region, which is
also heavily populated, is Ras Al Khaimah; an emirate with its shores overlooking
the Persian Gulf. Here the tourism industry is booming and as a result
so is the economy, including the property market.

that Ras Al Khaimah has a lot to offer its residents, whether they see
it as a place to live permanently, a great place to own a holiday home
or a great place to go on a leisurely holiday. Not only are there luxury
apartments, strong cultural traditions and a wonderfully hot climate but
also a wide range of attractions for both United Arab Emirates citizens
and visitors alike to enjoy. For example, the Al Sawan Camel racing track
is a hub of excitement at certain times of the year, as people of all ages
are welcomed and families are quite often seen to mutually enjoy their
days.

and leisure activities in Ras Al Khaimah includes the Tower Links golf
course; a popular club with the many businessman who come to work in the

There is also the Emirates
Sports and Diving center on the coast and of course the huge Manar shopping
mall located in central Ras Al Khaimah, with its six cinema screens, restaurants,
picnic areas and gaming and technology center.
If you're more of a fan of
exploring the natural environment in another part of the world then you
should see how the climate affects this part of the world and head down
to the natural sulphuric Khatts springs of Ras Al Khaimah. The hot bubbling
natural baths will help you drift off into a relaxing state of bliss in
preparation for the other adventures we highly recommend. For example,
the Bani Fasan and Al-Khushaym sand dunes provide an unusual yet awe-inspiring
backdrop for a fun filled family day out. Simply packing a picnic and having
a run around the dunes is a great way to bring people together, have a
little exercise and enjoy the country's natural assets.

to offer you too and where better to start than the Ras Al Khaimah historical
museum?
If you're feeling peckish
then the Awtar restaurant is the place to go. It serves top quality international
food (Italian and Lebanese to name a couple) at reasonable rates and from
afternoon 'til night.
So there's a pastime for
everyone at the tip of the United Arab Emirates peninsula; whether they
permanently reside in that particular Emirates or not. |
