This apartment is located
on Paseo del Borne the focal point of the gothic area to the east of via
Laietana, inside La Ribera. The street itself has no shortage of good bars,
restaurants and trendy shops to browse and wander around.
The most magnificent example
of Catalan Gothic buildings in Barcelona is the Santa Maria del Mar church
which is at the top of the street. The 1870's wrought iron struture
of the old Born Market is located at the other end of the street. The entire
area is encased in enchanting tiny medieval interconnecting streets and
alleyways.
The apartment
is located on the first floor with no elevator of a newly renovated apartment
building which has conserved the historic facade of the area. The imposing
renovated 15th century doors to the building have impressively restored
brass doorhandles. A short flight of stairs the guests are greeted by a
beautifully renovated apartment door (as are all the doors in the apartment)
and entrance hallway. Antique furnishing are placed throughout the apartment
to give the old original feel for the building.

has two single beds which can be configured into either a double bed for

also has two single beds which face out onto view the Paseo del Born street.
