This
dramatic and sophisticated house is set directly on the sea amidst flower-
filled gardens in Kommeno, the most exclusive area of Corfu. With state-of–the-art

A gracious
laurel-limed driveway leads from the stone entry gates through over 11,000
square meters of professionally landscaped grounds to the main residence.
In front of the house a traditional entry courtyard with fountain welcomes

house is spacious and luxurious, with exceptional entertaining areas. A
large salon has walls of glass which open onto a wide seafront terrace
overlooking the swimming pool. Another broad terrace adjoins the pool and
features a pool-house with a bar as well as changing facilities for guests.
A waterfall from the upper terrace to the pool is a special feature. Extensive
night lighting has been installed, and the views are striking. |

quality materials and systems have been used throughout the property including
marble and Italian title, German heating and air-conditioning, reverse
osmosis water filtration, and ISDN telephone wiring. The master suite is
outstanding, featuring a large bedroom with surround-sound stereo, deluxe
bathroom with hand-painted mural walls, Jacuzzi, and sauna, walk-in dressing
room with custom made-made cabinets, a sitting room with pool view, and
an adjacent study with walls of glass overlooking the sea. |

rooms in the main house include a guest suite with bedroom, bathroom, sitting
room with fireplace and seafront balcony; a further guest bedroom with
bathroom and terrace; superbly equipped kitchen, dining area guest cloakroom
with toilet; and service areas including an enclosed triple garage and
an independent staff apartment. A separate guest house has a living room
with fireplace, bedroom with ensuite bathroom, kitchen, mezzanine study,
guest toilet and terraces.
The
grounds feature about 150 olive trees and many others including palm, cypress,
eucalyptus, lemon and orange. There is a private well furnishing plentiful
water for the property and its profusion of tropical plants and flowers.
Handmade stone walls and pathways line the garden and lead to the boathouse
and secluded beach. |
