public transport communications with local bus stops (20 metres), Arroyo
de la Miel Railway Station (800m) with regular train service to all nearby
towns and resorts, and a taxi rank adjacent to the complex. It is only
a 20 minute drive from Malaga airport.
Nearby there are many golf
courses of the highest standard to tempt golfers to try out their skills,
whereas the Mediterranean Sea offers exciting activities for water sports
enthusiasts, or just to laze about and sunbathe all day.
The Marina is a twenty minute
walk along the paseo. The town of Arroyo de la Miel, Tivoli World fun park,
La Paloma park, railway station, the Friday market, Sea Life are all within
walking distance. There are lots of bars, restaurants and a couple of supermarkets
nearby. The beaches here, as in other areas in the Costa del Sol, are clean
and picturesque, which coupled with the climate result in an ideal holiday
location. For food-lovers, the local traditional dishes are the roasted
baby pork, fried fish, grilled sardines, shell fish, paella and gazpacho.
Costamar apartments have two communal swimming pools open from mid June
to mid September, one small for children and other large for adults.
