	Can Font de Muntanya is an 18th century stone farm house set on a mountain side in the Gavarres natural park in the region of Baix Emporda, Catalunya. It has a unique location with amazing views to the forest and to the sea but is only 15 minutes drive to the historic market town of La Bisbal D'Emporda. The house has been lovingly restored, retaining many original features and is tastefully decorated with antiques from Asia and Europe.

There are seven large double bedrooms, 5 with king size beds and 2 with twin beds, and 6 bathrooms, 5 ensuite. There are also extra beds in two of the double rooms and a cot can be provided. Bed linen and towels are also provided. Can Font has 2 living rooms with fire places and a huge outside porch with sofas and table tennis. There are lovely inside and outside dining areas and there is also a stunning 10m x 5 m swimming pool with a shaded area. The pool has a saline filtering system (much gentler then regular chlorine pools).

	Can Font is a very peaceful place to stay surrounded by nature, and the forest is right outside to explore, with many sign-posted walks and is loved by cyclists. The house can comfortably accommodate up to 16 people. Access to the house is by a forest track of 3 kms. The owners house is also on the property.
Activities: The nearest town is La Bisbal D'Emporda which is famous for ceramics and has a lovely farmers market every Friday. Some of the Costa Brava's finest beaches are within easy reach of the house (30 mins). There are many to be recommended, from secluded bays to wide open stretches. There are many medieval villages nearby, including Monells and Peretallada. Activities in the region include cycling, horse riding, ballooning, golf, paint balling and more. The Dali triangle is also in this region.
