beachfront vacation rental units are extremely comfortable offering a padded
mattress & Queen size beds along with spacious tiled shower and bathroom
area. The rooms are equipped with 5 speed ceiling fan, 110V electric outlets
and full closet w/ hanging area and shelves. The bedroom & sitting
area is done in large Terra Cotta tile, while the bathrooms are finished
with an Italian jade tile with glass block trimming the shower area. The
resort is ecologically friendly. The ambience is enhanced by the large
handcarved marble Mayan Glyph headboard and accented by its smaller counterpart
over the vanity area.
With large
sliding glass doors on the beach side, you'll enjoy the panoramic view
of Tankah bay and the ancient seagrapes there. The beachside patio is also
Terra Cotta tile and is perfect for catching some morning rays while enjoying
the excellent coffee Gary will have sent to you each morning. The hammock
style rocking lounge chair there is cool and comfy.Casa Cenote restaurant
is located off highway 307 between Akumal and Tulum on beautiful Tankah
beach. Eight kilometers south of Xel-Ha look for the blue Casa Cenote sign
with yellow lettering, follow the road to the beach and turn left, the
restaurant will be 1/4 mile on your right. Your host Gary will be happy
to recommend any seasonal specialties on the daily menu. Take the time
to enjoy a margarita and coax Gary into telling one of his Many interesting
“stories”. Gary is a transplanted Texan so be ready for some "TALL" Ones.
