We have one or two bedroom villas available, all with a futon that sleeps an extra two people. All have full kitchens, air conditioned bedrooms, patios, and are newly decorated. And of course, each villa has a gorgeous ocean view, and is just steps from our pristine, shell covered beach. Playa Maya Resort provides a real opportunity to get away from it all, and simply enjoy the sounds and sights of nature.

We have an onsite restaurant which has received rave reviews, as well as a onsite tour office. We can arrange transportation all over Mexico, and countless eco-tours. You can visit the famous flamingo colony, kayak through mangrove tunnels, go for a night canoe ride searching for crocodiles, or go birdwatching with an expert guide. 

The list goes on, and those are just things to do in the village! You can also visit ancient Mayan ruins, fresh water swimming springs, historical colonial cities, and open air Mayan markets. The options really are endless, and we can help arrange it all.

We are located in a UNESCO biosphere reserve, and take great care to protect and preserve the local eco-system. We had to obtain special permission from Mexico's environmental agencies to even develop the site, and we still employ biologists to monitor everything. 

All landscaping is done with native species, and we have several special programs for preservation of local rare wildlife. We are home to over 300 species of birds, sea turtles, dolphins, and crocodiles, among others.
