Guests seeking the best in fresh, local al fresco flavors, or refined culinary artistry can enjoy the hotel’s two signature restaurants where the summer season will be filled with flavor and exciting events as follows:
Authentic Mediterranean flavors at La Locanda della Canonica
La Locanda della Canonica takes on a reimagined identity, while welcoming diners back to savor authentic Mediterranean flavors, served on the cliffside. Guests can choose to take a seat on the sunny terrace, or under the new shady pergola, offering the best all-weather dining. Moreover, diners can linger over leisurely lunches of pasta, vegetables, and seafood. Among the highlights at the restaurant are bruschetta with fresh tomatoes from the hotel’s garden, seared octopus with Cetara anchovy sauce and hazelnuts, or linguine with clams.

Meanwhile, as the sun goes down over the sea, enticing aromas from the grill will entice diners to enjoy the perfect meal. They can choose from the catch of the day, lobster and squid, slow-cooked pork ribs, or T-bone steak, all served with seared vegetables.
Besides the exquisite flavors, this summer will see the restaurant playing host to a vibrant new event series: The Yellow Night Party. The events will start on June 21 to celebrate the first day of summer and promise live music, DJs, local specialties, cocktails, and a yellow-themed dress code for an unforgettable celebration of the Amalfi lifestyle. Advance booking is recommended.
Formal dining at Dei Cappuccini

For guests seeking a more formal, fine-dining experience, Dei Cappuccini continues to evolve its “future-heritage” concept under the leadership of Executive Chef Claudio Lanuto and Sous Chef Giovanni Paradiso. Diners can enjoy their meal on an elegant terrace with by panoramic sea views, as the restaurant blends the flavors of tradition with contemporary culinary creativity.
Chef Claudio draws inspiration from the fascinating history of the hotel – a convent since the 13th century, where monks cared for the grounds and lived off the land. Like the guest rooms set in friar’s quarters and the spa treatments with local essences, Chef’s bold new “Convent Menu” reflects the hotel’s unique setting.
Moreover, it is a multi-course tasting journey inspired by monastic traditions and seasonal ingredients from the hotel’s own convent garden.

Among the highlights are Amalfi Coast linquine with tuna cottarga and sardines, atubetto pasta dish with clams, lemon, and potatoes, and an unmissable Amalfi lemon cake. The diners’ journey concludes with the hotel’s house-crafted Amaro Dei Cappuccini.
In August, 2025, Dei Cappuccini will host an exclusive four-hands dinner crafted by Chef Claudio and a yet-to-be-revealed Michelin-starred guest chef as a once-in-a-season gastronomic event. Details will be announced soon.
