The Trans-Siberian Railway has been running for more than a century, carrying people across the vast country of Russia. Now you can travel in style and luxury, while learning about the country and enjoying many interesting stops along the way. You will also enjoy delicious meals during your fascinating journey.

Railway adventure of a lifetime

While travelling the amazing almost 10,000 km (around 5,800 miles) from Vladivostok to Moscow, gaze at the beautiful scenery as you pass by. Travelling on the Tsar’s Gold private train and other trains, we start the adventure in the port city of Vladivostok. Before catching the train, spend the first day exploring the busy harbour in Vladivostok by boat. Take a tour of the city’s submarine museums and Oceanarium. Head to the central station, where your journey begins on a regular Trans-Siberian train. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner on the train while staying overnight.

Learn about Mongolian horsemanship, and then enjoy a traditional Mongolian wrestling match and archery display. After all the excitement, head back to the train to travel towards the Russian border, spending the night on board.

The capital of Buryatia is a fascinating visit as you enjoy a guided tour through its streets. You will then enjoy a visit to Ivolginsky Datsan, which is the most important – and largest – Buddhist monastery in the country. Heading back into Ulan-Ude, the Tsar’s Gold train awaits you, to carry on your journey.

Enjoy views of Lake Baikal along the way, while travelling to the historic city of Irkutsk in Siberia. Here you will enjoy a stroll around the local market and visit to the history museum before enjoying a theater performance before spending the night in a hotel.
The journey continues the next day, taking a trip through fascinating scenery and forests, enjoying interesting talks about the local culture and customs of the area before arriving in Novosibirsk where you will take a tour around the city before heading to Yekaterinburg, capital of the Ural Mountain region. Then it’s off to Kazan, nestled on the banks of the Volga where you will learn about architecture in Russian.
