& Bars
The
Table Bay is a sanctuary for people who enjoy their food and wine. Whether
it’s elegant dining on authentic South African cuisine by acclaimed chefs,
informal al fresco meals or high tea with freshly baked scones, clotted
cream and preserves, The Table Bay will add delight to any occasion. Like
a grand hostess she’s always one step ahead. And there’s always The Table
Bay’s Union Bar to enjoy a crystal clear glass of champagne or enjoy the
vast range of delux single malt whiskey's we stock in the bar.
The
Lounge
This
lofty, open-truss ceilinged room looks across the harbour, the city and
Table Mountain through its high arched main window. A few steps down from
the foyer, The Lounge has a maritime theme, the artworks depicting sailing
ships under full sail in heavy seas. Up to 60 guests may be seated in deeply
comfortable sofas and chairs magnificently covered in luxurious muted fabrics.
It is here that the Table Bay’s famous Afternoon Tea is served in courses
in the later afternoon, or where guests can enjoy light lunches, cocktails
or after-dinner drinks and coffee. In winter, the two giant fireplaces
cast a warm glow over the comfortable room decorated with magnificent flower
arrangements, which are a mark of the hotel. |

The
Atlantic Restaurant
Open
for Breakfast and Dinner. Capacity: 120 seats Decorated in a Cape
Winelands theme with large murals and thick-pile carpets, this refined
restaurant overlooks Table Mountain and the harbour. The restaurant serves
buffet style breakfast specialising in fresh tastes and crisp cosmopolitan
combination. The selection changes frequently. Incorporated in the restaurant
is the private, ten-seater Captains Table, overlooking the V&A harbour
and is available for use by corporations who regularly entertain small
groups of clients and associates.
Pool
Bar
The
Pool Bar serves drinks, snacks and health food on the deck around the pool
which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.
The
Conservatory and Bar
The
bar is a gathering place for business people during the day and evening,
and for casual social meetings at any time. The adjoining Conservatory,
with which the bar makes a total area of 365m , is a restaurant serving
a la Carte meals. The bar is a favourite gathering place for business people
during the day. After hours it sparkles with cocktails and conversation. |

Facilities
The
Table Bay Hotel offers a tranquil retreat away from the hectic pulse of
the surrounding Waterfront and Cape Town's many hedonistic pleasures. The
sporting facilities provided are purely for enjoyment and relaxation purposes.
More strenuous and diverting sporting facilities are located outside of
the hotel. The Concierge will accommodate all requests.
Pool
Area: The salt-water pool is heated to a constant temperature of 22
degrees and is surrounded by a mahogany pool deck with chaises lounges.
Guests can also relax in the Jacuzzi or have a professional poolside massage.
Drinks and light meals may be served from the pool bar.
Gymnasium:
Floor to ceiling glass encloses the boutique gym, which offers both cardio-vascular
equipment and weights. For individual fitness programmes, professional
trainers, dieticians and corporate lifestyle consultants are available. |

The
Health Spa has a spectacular view of Robben Island and is equipped with
steam and therapy rooms and offers a range of fragrant aromatherapy massages
and holistic treatments to stimulate muscle therapy and relax stressed

Shower and Aromatherapy tub.

Pavilion:
The Victorian-style Pavilion is the ideal venue for wedding ceremonies
and receptions. The Pavilion is positioned on a piazza just outside the
Table Bay's imposing Ballroom, and shelters behind the historic breakwater
wall of the Cape Town harbour. The 195 m² Pavilion can accommodate
up to 120 people at a cocktail function and 72 seated at individual tables
for personalised service. |

Ballroom:
The spectacularly beautiful Ballroom is another ideal setting for a wedding
reception. With its crystal chandeliers and beautiful décor, the
Ballroom is extraordinary and does not require added artifice. The room
may be divided into two separate private areas, each 150 m². Undivided,
the Ballroom will seat 200 for dinner. |
