Slovenians possess some recognizable national features of character. Among them are independence, seriousness, hardworking and at the same time they are very modest people. 

The capital of the state is Ljubljana. The most significant place in the capital is its old part with its three bridges and the castle with ancient fresco. If you are lucky to visit this wonderful city, you should attend the Civil Museum, the National Museum, the National Gallery, the Municipal gallery and the Modern Art Gallery. Maribor is famous for its Cathedral and castle that were built in 12th century. If you are going to visit restaurants here, you should know that there is a tradition that everybody pays for himself, and even a woman considers the act of someone's paying for her as a kind of humiliation. 

The population very carefully treats its family carefully and clearly divides its life on personal and public. After 10 p.m. the cities fall asleep and the citizens are used to go to bed very early and telephone calling are not accepted.

Slovenia a souvenir of natural world and still a concealed jewel of Eastern Europe has many unspoiled tourist spots and offers many opportunities for recreational activities. Camping is a very popular activity in the gods own land of Bled in Slovenia. Slovenia was a part of the six voter republics of the Yugoslavia but during 1991 it had become independent. The country of Slovenia has Austria, Hungary, Italy, and Croatia in the borders.

You will see that the Alps, the Mediterranean, the Pannonian plain as well as the Dinaric region are meeting at Slovenia. The country has all, the snow peaked mountains, rivers, plains great museums, lakes and very warm and lovable hospitability will please you to the fullest. The highest mountain of Slovenia is the Triglav having three peaks measuring 2864 meters. You will see the three peaked Triglav in the national flag of Slovenia.

A major part of the tourist attraction remains concentrated on the mountains during the winter and the water sports and also the camping round the year. Tourists visit many places in Slovenia and the renowned caves on Postojna, the mountains, rivers are famous besides Ljubljana and Bled. 

The cuisines in Slovenia are also exquisite but mostly have influence of the neighboring countries. You will love tasting Strudel in addition to Wiener schnitzel; the traditional cake of Potica; Goulash, Ravioli and Risotto.

The country of Slovenia used to be a division of the Austro-Hungarian Kingdom. Ljubljana, the capital of present Slovenia, was originally discovered during the Roman era. 

The country has great industrial opportunity and the industries that are gradually making huge business are those of chemical industries, car parts industries, metal goods industries, electronic and electrical appliances industries, furniture and textile industries.

The beautiful Bled and camping Bled

Don't miss Bled, the charming, gorgeous and delightful Alpine resort to be found in Slovenia. For over hundred and thirty years it has attracted and pleased the tourists from different parts of the world. The specialty of the region is the pastry of vanilla cream known as 'kremna rezina'. The immense picturesque attractiveness and the spell bounding Lake Bled always give pleasure to the tourists.

Camping Bled is very fashionable. You will find this place located near the lake. The town of bled is not far away. The facilities in the campsite have five blocks for restroom among which you will find some with heaters, a restaurant, a centre for playing games and different types of games equipments are there.

The campsite is the ideal place for spending days with family and friends carrying on the different enjoyment activities.
