the peace and tranquility of the extensive grounds. Soak up the unequaled
African sunset from the pooldeck in the evening after basking on the beach
by day. With the choice of exquisite beaches available to you, it may seem
tame to settle for the pool but what a pleasure to have a choice of both.
Stroll through the extensive gardens of Ocean View House with its Koi ponds
and palm trees, and depending on the season, you will spot tropical birds
such as the Colibri as well as many varieties of multicoloured butterflies.
Stroll a little further and you will be at the famous Camps Bay beaches.
Ocean
View House is located only 1.3km from the renowned Camps Bay beach, and
Bakoven Beach is just under 1km away. A picnic basket can be made to order
to take with to the beach, and Table Mountain is only a ten minute drive
from the hotel. A number of excellent restaurants are available in Camps
Bay. The staff at the hotel can assist guests in booking one of the many
sight-seeing tours available in and around Cape Town. |
