The Victoria Falls Lion Encounter is part of an active conservation programme set up to secure the future of the African lion.

The lion species has experienced an 80% to 90% decline in the last 20-30 years and this program ethically re-introduces the offspring of captive-bred African lions back into the wild.

The Lion Encounter offers people the chance to walk with these magnificent animals, or to volunteer with with the programme  and actively contribute to their efforts to save the African Lion.

Featured Activity: Crocodile Cage Diving

Most people have heard about cage diving with the Great White Shark, but how about a similar experience with the scary Nile crocodiles?

This experience is available at the Elephant Walk Shopping and Artistic Village right in the heart of Victoria Falls.

This is the ideal way to cool down on a hot summer's day and spend a little time with the Nile crocodiles, Zambezi tiger fish and vundu in their own natural habitat.

While this might sound scary, the Predator Diving is handled by professionals and safety is of the utmost importance. Try it out ... if you dare!
