Living Life in London

London has been a central hub for culture for many years and is as strong a tourist attraction today as it ever was. People travel from all over the world to enjoy the modern attractions as much as the historical elements that the city is blessed with.

A trip to London could be for a variety of reason when we consider why people travel and sport is perhaps a popular one. With so many well known football teams based in London there are many high profile games that occur throughout the year in Arsenal’ Emirates Stadium and Chelsea’s Stamford Bridge.

Tower Bridge, London, Greater London, EnglandAway from sports the history of London is evident around every corner. Keep an eye out for Buckingham Palace (not that you could miss it), St Pauls Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, Nelsons Column and Westminster Abbey. Those places are more than likely to fill a few rolls of film in anyone’s camera, or memory sticks as it is today.

The lively side of what is now modern London will attract tourism to its live events which are happening all the time. The famed West End is home to the world’s leading musicals such as Phantom of the Opera, Chicago, Jersey Boys and many, many more. Leading international acts perform in the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley and the O2 Arena on a regular basis and so attract fans from across Europe to come and experience live music.

With so much to see and do when visiting the city it can be very easy to blow your holiday budget in a short space of time. You may want to consider some of the ways in which you can make your budget as large as possible such as ignoring the high nightly rates of some hotels and consider the cheap hostels in London. Choosing low cost accommodation is probably the best way to cut down the overall cost of a holiday no matter where you are headed. You will be even be able to shop around for a London hostel because there are so many located throughout the city which means you may be able to secure a competitive price!
