Furnished with Spanish antiques, local fabrics and a wealth of local art, the hotel imbues both elegance and informality that carefully combine to provide relaxation in style. 

Privacy is paramount at La Residencia’s newly refurbished luxury suites. Three suites with outdoor pools, one with plunge pool, each with a private terrace and an area for sun lounging or for dining, with breathtaking views. The refurbished suites are equipped with plasma screens for DVD or video and have a spacious lounge area with luxury furnishings.  Bathrooms have marble surrounds and separate  toilet and shower areas. 

Both our superior suites offer wonderful views of mountains and village with luxurious bathrooms. The tower suite, recommended for the romantic, is on two levels and has an outside terrace.  The 360º views are truly spectacular. 

Restaurants

El Olivo, our Gourmet restaurant, is open for lunch and dinner.  As soon as the weather permits we move the restaurant out onto the terrace overlooking the village.  People like to “dress up” when dining in this very romantic setting and the dress code is casual smart, which means no shorts, for example.  Our executive chef offers his special gourmet menu or à la carte.

Located in the Son Fony building above the main swimming pool.  These suites have a very spacious lounge area with luxurious fittings: plasma screen tv, DVD, video; wet bar, open fireplace. The comfortable bedroom has a suite bathroom with dressing area, a separate wc and shower areas. 

Leading off from the lounge is a terrace with private swimming pool, outdoor dining area and a covered pergola with seating. Suite 66 is the most private of our suites because of its situation on the very top of the Son Fony building.

Our Junior Suites are furnished with antique Mallorquin furniture, each having their individual characteristics. 

Some do have a private balcony, a little private garden, terraces, and all have living room and four poster bed.

Standard Double

Our standard double rooms offer all the comforts with antique Mallorquin furniture. Some have high ceilings i.e. in the main building.

Superior Double

Our superior double rooms are furnished with antique Mallorquin furniture. Some of these rooms have high ceilings or little romantic corners and a number have four poster beds.

Our single rooms are decorated with antique and traditional Mallorquin furniture and white linen.

At regular intervals, classical music concerts are also held in La Residencia, for the hotel boasts possession of a very special and unique Steinway piano dating from 1887. This piano, which had lain in disuse for many years, was purchased by the hotel, fully restored, and re-inaugurated on September 18, 1987, exactly one hundred years after the famous Spanish composer, Albéniz had first inaugurated the instrument. This time, the honour was given to the prize-winning Australian pianist, Jonathan Plowright, who included several works by Albéniz in his programme.

The new hotel's SPA with 6 treatment rooms, four of which have a private outdoor massage area. More beauty therapists on hand, all trained in La Stone Therapy, reflexology and other spa treatments. An outdoor Jacuzzi with spectacular views over sea and mountains, a sauna, a steam room and a 16 metres indoor pool.

Many guests are golfers who take advantage of Majorca’s 11 golf courses to practice their sport. The hotel can reserve these for clients.
