called 'Mansarda', is on the first floor of what used to be a Chapel. This
together with the Villa next to it, was part of a large farmhouse and their
existence has been documented since the 16th century. Villa Luisa
is located 10km south of the city of Siena, in the Etruscan area, and commands
a breathtaking view of of the surrounding hills (the 'Crete Senesi') and
of Siena with its Torre del Mangia, where the Palio is run twice a year.
Situated at the entrance of a hamlet called 'Ville di Corsano', the Villa
is reached along a surfaced, very panoramic road. The Etruscan museum in
the charming borough of Murlo is not far, as well as the town of Monteroni
on the Via Cassia (SS.2) leading to Buonconvento and eventually Rome. |

Font de Muntanya is an 18th century stone farm house set on a mountain
side in the Gavarres natural park in the region of Baix Emporda, Catalunya.
It has a unique location with amazing views to the forest and to the sea
but is only 15 minutes drive to the historic market town of La Bisbal D'Emporda.
There are 7 large double bedrooms, 5 with king size beds and 2 with twin
beds, and 6 bathrooms, 5 ensuite. There are also extra beds in two of the
double rooms and a cot can be provided. Can Font has 2 living rooms
with fire places and a huge outside porch with sofas and table tennis.
There are lovely inside and outside dining areas and there is also a stunning
10m x 5 m swimming pool with a shaded area. |
