This just-completed, architect-designed residence lies a short, steep ascent to about 400 feet, which affords extraordinary views of Jost Van Dyke, Sandy Cay, and West to St. Thomas. After a day on the water, exploring Nature’s Little Secrets, or on the beach, retire to this cooler, drier, quieter elevation still within sight and sound of the surf.
 

The main living area is comprised of a great room, including a large, fully equipped kitchen with island, dining area, buffet and bar, and a large family area. Also on the first floor are two master bedrooms, each with en suite baths and truly lovely ocean views, and a third bedroom with garden view and full bath.  The house is surrounded on three sides by a wide verandah, nicely accessible from all the bedrooms and the great room. The large front porch leads to the parking areas, the downstairs suite, and the outdoor, warm-water shower.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be served inside at the island (seats 4) or on the verandah (seats 10 at two teak tables). Or in the Great Room at the table that seats 8. We recommend taking your morning coffee on the verandah amidst the soft tropical breeze with a wide-sweeping view of one of the Caribbean’s most spectacular island profiles dotted with sailboats of all sizes.

A downstairs suite with separate outside entrance includes bedroom, full bath, kitchenette, and outstanding views.

Formerly rich, terraced farmland growing banana, yams, sugar cane and tapia, the property is now abundant with banana, papaya, and other fruit trees. The stone-walled front access is professionally landscaped with tropical flowers and palms, and outdoor lighting enhances the natural beauty after sundown. Ample parking for you and your guests.

• Airport pickup will be arranged if desired. You will be met and introduced to Lone Palm by our on-island property manager, who is available to assist in making your stay memorable and enjoyable, including options such as provisioning, chef, daily maid service, day sails and the like.

• This 400-foot elevation was selected because it is cooler, drier, and quieter, but is still within sight and sound of the surf when the surge is up. It’s a perfect place to retire after a day on the water, diving/snorkeling, on the beach, shopping, or exploring the likes of the Botanical Gardens or the tropical rain forest at Mount Sage Park. 
• Lone Palm is a new residence, architect designed and completed in the new millennium, featuring top quality construction and layout. The main floor is 1850 square feet, plus about 1300 square feet of deck/verandah, and a 200 square foot covered front deck. The Great Room includes a fully equipped kitchen with island, dining area, buffet/bar, and large family area. Ceiling fans are in every room. 
• The lower level includes a suite with separate entrance: bedroom, bath with shower, and well-equipped kitchenette with sink, microwave and refrigerator. 
• Lone Palm is professionally landscaped with rock walls, tropical flowers and palms. The grounds include citrus, banana, papaya, palms, and fruit trees. 
• We’ve found the hot/cold outdoor shower with view is the best way to freshen up after a day on the beach. 
• Outdoor lighting enhances the area’s natural beauty after sundown. Ample parking for four or more vehicles. 
• Gas barbecue, hammock, microwave, dishwasher, food processor, CD/Tape/radio stereo, TV, VCR, Coolers for the beach, beach towels, beach chairs, and a growing library are included. 
• Laundry includes washer, dryer and supplies.
