A fixed rate taxi service operates from the airport to towns all over the island. The rate to the hotel is typically 10 lm. A taxi desk is located in the arrivals hall where pre-paid tickets may be purchased. Alternatively, the number 8 bus departs from the airport every 20 minutes to the main bus terminus in Valletta, and there is a stop opposite the hotel. malta has a network of buses connecting the main resorts. Night buses run only in high season (June-September). A one-day bus ticket for unlimited travel costs 1.50 lm. A hire car is useful for exploring the less touristy areas of the island. There are ferries and high-speed catamaran services from Malta (Valletta to Gozo. Car rentals are available online. All prices subject to change. |
